Doctor George L. Morris III Dr. Morris has more than distinguished himself in advancing the field of epilepsy study and care. In addition to founding and serving as Medical Director for Ambulatory EEG Recordings, he is Medical Director and Staff Neurologist for Milwaukee-based St. Luke’s Medical Center’s Regional Epilepsy Center. For the past nine years, Dr. Morris has developed a comprehensive epilepsy program at St. Luke’s that has gained national and international prominence -- building and supervising the video-EEG program and creating a system for the surgical treatment of epilepsy. In addition to his duties at St. Luke’s, Dr. Morris also owns and operates a private neurology practice. Prior to coming to St. Luke’s, Dr. Morris founded and managed the Epilepsy Program at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. Dr. Morris is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Board of Clinical Neurophysiology. He has been awarded over 40 research grants and authored over 100 papers, abstracts and book chapters on topics related to neurology and epilepsy and ambulatory EEG. He has and continues to hold faculty appointments at leading medical colleges and universities. Dr. Morris is a member of the American Medical Association, The American Academy of Neurology, the American Epilepsy Society and the American EEG Society. |
